Men's Ministry

The men's ministry of Stewartsville Baptist church is dedicated to bringing each man into a vital, growing relationship with Jesus Christ, his wife, children, other men, his church and the community.

 

The method for accomplishing this is by providing a non-threatening environment where men can develop vital relationships with other men.  These relationships provide friendship, fellowship, encouragement and accountability.  Men build relationships around activities and shared interests.  Therefore, the ministry will endeavor to provide activities that will interest a wide variety of men.

 

The following is a list of activities our men can or in which they will soon be able to participate in the near future:

 

	Sports:  church softball team; golf outings; fishing events; attending professional sporting events.
	Promise Keepers
	Ministry Projects:  Habitat for Humanity; Assisting in renovating churches in the area.
	Missions Trips
	Men's Meetings:  These meeting are held periodically during the year.  They include dinner, prayer, praise and worship and a speaker.
	Small Groups:  As a man develops vital relationships with other men, he may desire to have a close relationship with a few other men.  To facilitate this, we will encourage the formation of small groups based on areas such as prayer, support, ministry, mutual accountability and Bible Study.
